The PAOLYC & Derbyshire Yeomanry Cavalry are together as the "6th Yeomanry Brigade" at this time. The Brigade senior Officer is Colonel Chandos-Pole, DYC, and the Brigade Adjutant is Captain C J Kavanagh, 10th Hussars (who was also the PAOLYC Adjutant from 1895 to 1903).


PAOLYC Officer at Garendon Park Camp in 1901. The headdress appears to be the Baden-Powell Scout type and probably just a personal preference for this particular Officer? This Officer can also be seen in the picture below. Note the "blank" sabretache of the PAOLYC.

 Major W J Martin (left), started in the Yeomanry in the 19th November 1881 as a sub Lieutenant.

A Captain from the 1st Kings Dragoon Guards and part of the DYC at Aston Park camp in 1900, he is possibly the outgoing Adjutant at the end of his tenure.
