Gilding-metal (Other Ranks) 1922-28
This badge is smaller than the later two "designs" by 1/8 of
an inch (2mm).
This badge was short lived and replaced the economy badge that
the Other Ranks wore from c1916-22. Its design was taken
directly from the Officers badge illustrated above (see also
below). It existed
for 6-5 years before Col. G R Codrington changed the pattern in
1928.
