Bi-Metal Cap Badge (Slider)
* The large Gaunt mark suggests that production was during the 1960s. So its possible that these badges were made for the 1956-67 period and regimental oders were to wear the RA cap badge.

The Flintshire, and Denbighshire Yeomanry, RA, TA.
>>> This cap badge was never worn or issued. (Confirmed, June 2021, by a Flint TA Storeman that served in the late 1960s. The RA cap badge was worn.) <<<

Note:- Some of the Other Ranks Cap badges seen in the Great War period photos might appear brass, these are badges that have had their bronze coat diminish through constant daily use. In the case of the 24th (DHY) Btn, in Egypt and Palestine, the "sand blasting" effect would take its toll and the badge would look brass on the face of it.

A "sand cast" example of what could be an Egyptian made copy of the Jennens & Co OSD Cap Badge.

The badge on the card is a very tarnished silver/gilt with x2 loops E/W.
* Keith Hook (former owner of these pattern cards) confirmed on 11/07/2013 that both cards had "looped badges only" and that the card dated 1901 is in fact for the Officers and is silver/gilt.
